Lookout Mountain Lookout - Methow — Wednesday, Jul. 8, 2020

Wow - a hike! Took the family on what we expected to be an easy 1.3 mile hike to a lookout tower. I clocked the hike at closer to 2.3 miles up, and that elevation gain was a killer! We had a great time, but I disagree with this being said "easy hike". Started off very steep and eventually leveled out a bit. Brought 10 and 7 year old, and we were all exhausted when we made it back to the car (3 hours later). Quite a memory though! :)
