Amazing little after work hike to catch sunset. Trail is great condition - the first section on the old road is super easy and fast. Second half is steep, but short enough to not be too difficult. Once you level out in the trees it's not far - keep rolling! Caught an awesome sunset with a handful of folks camping overnight at the top. Little nerve racking going down the switchbacks in the dark, but nothing too difficult. A word of advice - remember the turns you made on the way in, because there are plenty of unmarked/barely marked forest roads to confuse you in the dark on the way out without Google Maps...
Also - wildflowers a blooming. Really amazing up high!
