Got to the trailhead around 10:30 AM on Saturday. Parking was almost full, but as camping isn't open yet, I was able to find a spot at one of the many campsites like others had done. You do have to pay an entry fee to enter the national park though (30$ per car), unless you have one of the passes that are accepted at the National Park.
How amazing the views are on this hike depends on how lucky you are. You might see the magnificent mountain in all it's glory or within minutes have it vanish behind the clouds. We got lucky and enjoyed the beautiful views and the vista for a little bit before the clouds rolled in.
The trail is pretty easy to navigate. There are some places were you will have to hop on some rocks if you want to avoid getting your shoe wet. But that's about it.
I would highly recommend taken the Emmons Moraine side trail and hike up the ridge line. The mysterious lake on the other side blew my mind!
