Did a loop from Dege Peak running the ridge out to Marcus Peak and Palisades Peak then down to Hidden Lake and out via the trail. Ridge tops and peaks were patchy snow but no need for axe or traction. Loose rock is everywhere, helmet advised, and we actually dropped down off the ridge a few times and cut through the basins to avoid the worst of the ridge. Basins were beautiful! Saw a goat, a bear, and deer. Marcus scramble is fun and Palisades Peak has the best views! Had hidden lake all to ourselves and overall only saw a few people on the trail out, at least until near the end. Unbelievable day in a busy park!

No traction needed when we did it. Snow is probably completely gone now.
