WOW! Start off by saying, it was all worth it, but I underestimated the road to the trailhead. It is a LONG, BUMPY 12miles. Took about an hour to drive, so keep this in mind for timing of your day.
This hike is well described by WTA, but also found that it was a pretty easy trail to find places to step aside and create distance when needed, and most hikers had a face covering when needed.
Due to the snow fields, it was tricky to find the trail once up top and along the ridge, so I'll suggest to keep and eye on the trail that stays up on the ridge (mostly toward the right) The views were incredible. While the wildflowers were starting to bloom, this trail will be incredible in another few weeks.
Would be an incredible place to spend the night!!! Enjoy!

Was there enough clear space (no snow) to camp on the ridge? Hoping to do that next weekend for my friend’s birthday

YES!!! All the campsites that we saw were clear. The snow is just on some of the slopes. There are some super dreamy sites!! Have a great time.
