Got there early and got the last parking spot - I think most people were just campers. The trail led to a meadow filled with wildflowers and little streams - gorgeous. The lake itself was so so stunning - it was like 50 shades of blue. There were about 3-4 groups and I sat by the lake for a good 30 min. We saw lots of fish swimming below us.
My only concern is the staggering amount of people without masks on our way down. Please wear a mask and let's all recreate responsibly. I urge esp young people to be considerate of the older people out on the trails - just do it for them even if you think you're immune to Covid.
