Carbon River Rain Forest Nature Trail — Monday, Aug. 10, 2020

Mount Rainier Area > NW - Carbon River/Mowich
Beautiful Boardwalk and Vegetation

This loop is only .25 miles long (not half a mile, as the WTA website suggestions). Also, the boardwalk is washed out and completely overgrown halfway around the loop, so it is best to just walk to that point and then turn around and walk back to the start. That being said, I did think this was a beautiful warm-up hike to start off my morning. The boardwalk is very old and wobbly but beautiful too, and the vegetation is lush and beautiful.
