Trip Report

Triple Creek Falls — Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020

North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

Park at the concrete barrier at the end of the FS road and walk past the barrier to find the trail. As mentioned in other trip report, turn left (uphill) at the junction. Follow the trail uphill until you reach the series of small waterfalls. The trail is a small footpath through the trees and brush. Long sleeves and pants are recommended. Take particular care on the way back from the falls as people have started to create false trails as they lose the real trail, start off in the wrong direction, hit a dead end and turn around (then the person after them does the same). I couldn't find an officially posted distance for this trail, but I'd estimate it to be able 1 mile (.5 out, .5 back). Took us 30 minutes and that included stops at the falls and losing the trail once (didn't help that we did it at dusk either)
