Really nice trail. Gradual gain all the way to the top and stunning blue bird views of Crystal Mountain, Tahoma, and Adams. Could see the Stuart range, enchantments, and Baker from the summit. Very dry and no water on the trail so bring plenty for yourself. There was also a swarm of lady bugs at the summit, but I’ll take lady bugs over mosquitos any day. There are still plenty of wildflowers.
Previous posts mention a narrow pass, but I don’t recall any part of the trail that was notable or dangerous so don’t let that dissuade you. Views all day.
