As much as I have hiked around the Sunrise area, this was mMy first trip to Berkeley Park, and it lived up to its reputation! Flowers were blooming everywhere!
Roadwork had started, so I ended up having to wait for 20 minutes, but as long as you understand what is going on, it's not a big deal.
Hiking alongside Lodi Creek is pretty great with all the wildflower color on the other side of trail.
I passed a couple who warned me that two bears were just off the trail outside the campground, but I never saw them myself.
Most were wearing masks, which was a nice thing to see.
