Hex Mountain — Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020

Hot. This trail is pretty exposed so wearing long breathable clothing is a must during this time of year. We passed the forest road twice. There wasn't a sign indicating it was a forest road. There was a backhoe parked in a lot off of the road when we went. The gate is no more then 200' off of the main road. Using google maps should get you there though. It's kind of a barren hike but has some nice views. We were the only hikers on the trail, so a mountain biker and a dirt biker along the road. There are some pretty flowers near the top, the berries were not ripe.
