Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

This was a great hike to beat yesterday's 90F+ heat. Sitting by the waterfall, even without getting in or near the pools, was nice and cool. There were several groups enjoying the water; I came just to admire the falls but I'm sure the water felt lovely. Trail is short and simple; the road is much more of a challenge. One of the worst I've driven on in the region, but I am a mere occasional hiker. You've got to take it slow but should be ok even in a moderate clearance car.

Masking on this trail was so-so. What's up with these family groups hiking together where only half are wearing masks?
