Truman Trail - Pumice Plains — Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020

We did a short trail run on the Truman Trail early to avoid the heat and before we did a separate hike later in the day with our dog. A nice morning, and almost no one out that early. Clear skies except for the lingering smoke and haze in the distance, and not too hot - though on the plains, in the sun, even 70 starts to feel pretty warm! Trail was easy to follow and there is still some water in the small stream where you hit the Loowit Trail, so that was refreshing. Will definitely be back for a longer run/hike!
