Issaquah Alps > Tiger Mountain

We hiked to the #1 and #2 summits from the High Point trailhead just at the I-90 exit. Nice Rainier view from the top of #1! At first we went to the summit where you can't see anything, then followed the trail to the Hiker's Hut where there's a gorgeous panoramic view. Hummingbirds were very active at the Hiker's Hut. Then we continued to #2 summit, just to avoid retracing our steps, but you cannot see anything from that point, you're in the trees.

It was just under 8 miles round trip. Fairly steep, and in some places the trail is a bit loose and gravely underfoot, plus roots/rocks to trip on. I have run the Cougar Mtn trails but this one seemed it would be hard to run.
