Ira Spring Trail - Mason Lake — Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Glad we got an early start because the trail got really crowded by the time we were on our way back down. We got to the trailhead by 7 am - highly recommend.

The fall colors were gorgeous and there were great spots to snag some ripe Thimbleberry and Salal - yum! Great sights of boulder fields, Mt Rainier peeking out in the distance, and once you climb over the ridge and descend toward the lake it's insanely quiet without the noise from I-90.

Most people wore masks when passing by other hikers. The dirt road leading to the trailhead was crazy bumping. Lots of deep potholes may make you carsick.
