Pete Lake — Friday, Aug. 21, 2020

Took a family out for their first ever backpacking trip to Pete Lake. We spent two nights here, and on the middle day hiked up to the PCT and towards Spectacle lake for some fun exploring. There are lots of campsites when you first come to the lake. If you keep going along the lake there are many more. There are pit toilets at either end of the lake, and an open outhouse in the parking lot. Bugs were bad but not terrible, just hid in my tent at night when they really started to come out.
