Hiked Lake 22 yesterday. We arrived at the trailhead around 9 AM and found plenty of parking. After reading previous trail reports, I was pleased that I didn’t see much trash along the trails. Having visited midweek, I didn’t find the trail overly crowded, although I’m sure on the weekend the experience would be different. Not much to add other than to confirm other reports that the majority of hikers weren’t wearing a face mask. This is a shorter hike, so less seasoned hikers often find their way here. Keep that in mind if it will end up bothering you. It’s also worth mentioning that the Northwest Pass doesn’t seem to be required at this time (there’s a sign at the trailhead). Beautiful day, nice summer hike!
