Fabulous hike, I concur with today's other reporter. . .but. . .BERRIES! OMG, blueberries everywhere. . .I was a later starter, I got off the mountain right around sunset. That meant that I traversed the upper slope below the peak all alone, large fields of berries cut by game trails. . .so prime bear territory this time of year. . .I should have brought my bear spray, but I was shouting a lot and playing podcasts on my external speaker. Saw one grouse, and lots of mountains. The view of Glacier Peak, in particular, is very special.
