Did this hike during the week, so we only saw 3-4 other groups of people hiking this trail. The ending (where you see the dam), is kind of a let down, as we expected a larger viewpoint... don't get me wrong though, it was great to see that too. The trail is easy to navigate, however, it can get narrow at parts, and if you're afraid of heights, be aware that looking down to Diablo Lake while going up the trail can be a bit intimidating. There's a patch of large rocks you need to climb over (which is simple for most hikers), and it was well maintained. I enjoyed hopping into the lake for a quick minute to cool off, as it was in the 80's that day.
