Tanner Landing Park — Sunday, Sep. 27, 2020

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
middle fork Snoqualmie

Walked the Tanner Landing trails Sunday morning making a nice loop with the Snoqualmie Valley trail that runs right next door.  Parking is plentiful and free in the big lot off Mt Si rd.  There is a single but well maintained porti-potti along the access road to the parking lot, (not actually at the lot.)  Both the main open meadow trails and the wooded trails along the river are in good shape with no issues other than the ones nearest the river are getting close to being eroded away.

This park makes a great access point for the Snoqualmie Valley trail whether you are going east towards Rattlesnake Lake/Cedar Falls or west back through town towards the big Reinig bridge east of Snoqualmie proper.  But don’t miss out on the nice little loop that hugs the river.  Trails on the western half offer great river access with beautiful views and options for wading or fishing.  Don’t miss the very nice vine maple grove along the east bit of the river - it should be beautiful in a few weeks with fall color.  A super nice little walk with access to additional mileage if desired.
