Lake Ingalls — Monday, Sep. 28, 2020

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

Road/TH: I typed in “Lake Ingalls Lake Trailhead” into Google Maps and it leads you right! Road has minimal pot holes and passable by all vehicle types.  I was 4th in a line of cars to get to the TH, arriving at 9am to a completely full lot. It was in the 30s when I started, but quickly warmed up and was in shorts and a tank top by the end. Many people I saw complained about being overdressed. Recommend packing the layers! There was a fairly clean toilet at the TH but no TP.

Trail: Surprised how clean the trail was despite the hoards of people that use it! Good job packing it in and out people! I took the main trail to get to the lake and did get off for a little bit in the boulder field but easily re-found the actual trail. I took the alternate on the way back and I enjoyed this way better/ found it easier to follow. Fall colors are still not at their prime, but what a gorgeous hike! In my opinion, the journey was way better than the destination.  I’d say I passed at least 50 people. Lots of people at the lake, but there is plenty of space to spread out. Mask usage was maybe 50%.

Happy Trails!
