I took an afternoon walk in Cowiche Canyon the last 2 days.  Yesterday I walked in from the west end down to bridge 4 and today I walked in from the east end up to bridge 7.  Both afternoons were sunny and warm.  The rabbitbrush is pretty much past and the sumac is getting past, but the other shurbs and trees are starting to color up.  In another week and a half it should be very nice in here.

Thanks for your reports, M-Man, I make a yearly trip over there from Seattle, and it's great to know when the Tieton Nature Trail and Cowiche Canyon are nearing their peaks. Lindy
