Camped overnight from Sunday into Monday. Trail closures are ongoing. See photo for the map. That said, we were able to hike 5 miles in that rabbit warren of trails - many trails were not marked as closed. The map and the reality don't match up exactly.
Spotted lots of interesting mushrooms along Log Jam trail - in an area that almost looked as of someone intentionally inoculated several down logs with spores.
Spotted a Lion's Mane jellyfish in the water; it was about 3 feet across.
People were digging for clams.
We also saw black nightshade (Solanum nigrum) growing at the campground, near the bathrooms serving the cabins 3 thru 7.

The Lions Mane Jellyfish looks menacing. How big is that thing?
Curious about the Spotted black nightshade. Is that an invasive species or rare native plant. I don't think I've ever seen it.

Thanks for asking that. I edited my Trip Report to include that the jellyfish was about 3 ft across at its biggest. Hard to measure, actually, since it was flowing along and there was nothing nearby to provide scale.
I don't know very much at all about the black nightshade we saw. I used the iNaturalist app to identify it.

I'd say that nightshade is pretty common around here, but definitely super invasive. It's found just about everywhere nowadays in the US (https://extension.wsu.edu/whitman/2013/11/black-nightshade/#:~:text=sarrachoides%20Sendtner)%2C%20black%20nightshade%20(,production%20areas%20in%20the%20PNW.).
