Trail after Malachite and just before Copper Lake is significantly flooded. You can cross the river just before Copper with some tactful maneuvering but then there is about 8 inches of standing water over squishy mud on the entire trail for at least 100ft that is sure to fill a hiking boot if you step in it. After exploring around for a bushwhacking option I gave up and ended my hike at Lake Malachite (which is gorgeous, so I can’t complain!)
