We did a road trip looking for a suitable walk for my partner recovering from knee surgery. She also needed to to get her "mountain fix" in. Going out Highway-20 and then the Baker Lake Road. Along the way there are some great views of Mount Baker. We did the Shadow of the Sentinels trail and wandered among the giant trees. It is a 0.5 mile loop which fit the bill perfectly towards recovery. We also checked out some of the campgrounds along Baker Lake Road and then backtracked on the road and went into Concrete via the Burpee Hill Road. We had lunch at the 5-Bees Bakery/Café in their outside dining area.
