The Lake

We hiked the Silver Lakes Way trail. The Upper Dungeness Road is snow-free beyond Tubal Cain trail! Snow and compact ice started abruptly about a quarter mile before the Silver Lakes way trail trailhead. 

Microspikes highly recommended. We used them from the car all the way to the lake. Snowshoes highly recommended for travel around the lake or up to the pass beyond. A great day!
