The road: usual large potholes suitable for SUV. The last 10 min gets icey and u need some clearance since snow gets a bit deep, I made it to parking lot which has decent amount of frozen snow about half a foot ish. Maybe more .. u can manage but u can get stuck
Trail is difficult but I followed the outline that kept disappearing the closer u get to the lake, either have GPS or know the area, snow gets 1- 2 feet but frozen so I just used winter boots, postholed about 8 times, lake is frozen
Ps: mount loop road gets slippery at night.. had a bit of a drift, whoops
