Franklin Ghost Town — Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020

had a lovely hike through the beautiful woods to the old mine and cemetery. there are a few unmarked trails that can get confusing, but stay to the right til ya get to the Franklin minecart. we ended up going left to the mine and cemetery, but wandered off a little too far. ended up down a road to the left which looked like there was a trail, but after about a good minute walking downhill the trail was washed out. some people have definitely climbed it according to footprints, but there's no way i had the guts to do it.. had to walk back uphill through the cemetery. wish there were more signs especially on the history. it was still an awesome and fun hike! great for a cold rainy day
