Big Creek — Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021

We got there about 9 am and the small parking lot was full, but there was plenty of parking on the street. We didn't see that many people on the trail, but this must be because most people came after us - when we got back to our car there were cars lined down the street! 

I really loved this hike, especially in the fog. And the trail is SO well maintained. I highly recommend taking the little confluence trail detour to the three creeks. We stopped there for lunch and it was so beautiful and peaceful by the water. 

After the hike, I stopped by one of the neighborhoods in Lake Cushman where my grandparents had a cabin when I was growing up. It was so nostalgic for me just to be in this area again. I'm excited to hike more around here!
