This was our puppy's first snowshoe experience, and was a great route for that. There were a couple other cars in the Sno Park when we arrived at 9am and a dozen when we got back in the afternoon; they must have been on different trails though, as we didn't see any other groups on our route.
Plenty of snow on the trail from the start, switched from micro spikes to snowshoes right away. The route was well defined and easy to follow for the most part. We ended up blazing our own trail a bit on the back half of the loop when a few sets of tracks diverged; we made our way back to the main trail no problem. There's currently no elevation info on the WTA page; Gaia GPS says it was about 900ft of gain for us.
Our dog 8 month old mini Aussie happily went about 3 miles under her own steam with booties on to stop ice from building up between her pads, and I carried her for a mile or so in a backpack when she got tired.
