Point Defiance Park — Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Beautiful day for a hike.  We hiked Spine trail and it was very well maintained. Little mud, easily avoidable. We got there around 1:30 and the trail was pretty busy, a lot of families and people with their dogs. The trail is kid friendly, but not stroller friendly.  A lot of small/medium inclines, so it might be hard for very young kids to walk completely alone.

The trails are marked along the way by posts with arrow medallions that are color coded.  As long as you remember your trail’s color it is very easy to navigate. Beautiful foliage all along the way. We went at a leisurely place, and it took about 1.5 hours to complete.
