Padilla Bay — Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021

Walked the trail here today which made for a nice lowland outing when the weather report wasn’t looking so good. It was also great for bird watching! Lots of waterfowl, herons, a couple of eagles in a tree, and a flock of snow geese flying above. It was pretty windy today, but the trail was busy. The trail is wide and there were lots of benches along the way. We parked at the small lot, walked to the end of the trail and back and got 4 miles in. I’d definitely come back here!
