Lake Serene — Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021

Got to the trailhead a little after 9am on Saturday and was surprised to find plenty of parking! I think the rain scared off most of the crowds. Trail is in good condition and there is a decent amount of snow. It was snowing at the lake and we could hear and see avalanches happening on the other side of the lake from the wet heavy snowfall. Microspikes were helpful for that last mile to the lake and especially on the way down.
