Nice day for a stroll out to Racehorse Falls. Trailhead is not identified along North Fork Road but its easy to find after crossing the old wood bridge and up the hill in a left bend in the road you will see it on your right. On the left is a large rock along the edge of the road for better identification. If its on a weekend you will probably see other cars parked along the road. No designated parking but road is wide enough to park along the edge.
The trail out to the falls only takes about 15 minutes max but beware that the boot trail along the edge of Racehorse Creek near the falls is not easy to climb downhill or up so just be careful especially with young kids. I made it at age 60 but I do hike every weekend so I am in decent shape. The trail will bring you straight to the Upper Falls but do not miss the Middle (Largest Fall) or Lower Fall down below. Check out my video of this hike by clicking on the link below or checkout over 350 other hikes I have done mostly in Washington State on my VIMEO Channel at https://vimeo.com/mikemorrison (Michael Morrison).
This video starts off at Upper Fall and works in way down thru Middle and Lower Falls.
As always get out and see this beautiful state and enjoy your hiking!
Take Care,
Mike
