This was recommended as a beginner day hike and it was perfect for us. Had my 4yo and my 64yo mother in tow and all managed just fine. Trail conditions were good. We started around 1 p.m. and there was plenty of parking at the trailhead. There were lots of people going in both directions, but most seemed to mask up when passing and everyone was very polite.
Views were great and we loved taking advantage of the sitting areas along the way to watch the geese or just enjoy the quiet.
