Puget Sound and Islands > Bellingham Area

For this walk we parked at Boulevard Park and then walked into Bellingham.  Along this part we spotted a bald eagle nest.  We spent time walking around downtown Bellingham.  We had lunch at the Schweinhaus Biergarten; good beer, good food, and dog friendly (for well-behaved dogs).  We returned the way we came back to Boulevard Park and continued on to Fairhaven.  This is the coolest part of the walk because the walkway extends over the water.  It's also likely to be the most crowded.  We walked a little around Fairhaven then turned around, back to the car at Boulevard Park.  Total mileage: 7.5 miles.
