Got to the parking lot at 11and it was about 1/4 full.
At about 1.5 miles in, there is a slide that happened over the trail and you will need to scramble to the next switch back, luckily someone attached some ropes to tree to make this easier. Be careful coming down.
At about 1.8 miles is were there is intermittent snow on the trail very easy to cross. But after that we had to put on our spikes one mile from the lake, the trail is covered in snow.
The lake itself is gorgeous and still mostly covered in snow. A couple of people tried to go around the lake but were unable to.
As we were heading back down the sun was making the snow fields very slick. Be careful.
