Another "Locals Only" hike - meaning it's not worth the drive. This is DNR land directly south of Lake Roesiger and Dubuque Road. The West Fork Woods Creek runs through a good part of it, and I thought I might get down to it in a few places. It was not to be -
No bootpath along this lazy, swampy creek; and the only road that crosses it heads straight back up the hill. A local I met said there was a clearcut at the top with a view, but I declined - I've had my fill of those this winter. Reviewing the sat' photos later, there may be a few spots left to check out if I ever get desperate enough; but I doubt I'll return. If you're a local, you can settle down now - it's all yours...
Just thought I would save you the trouble, in case you were curious like me. You're welcome!

Yeah, I got tired of walking miles down gravel roads just to get to my "hike". I got it used for cheap (battery @ 50%) to see if an e-bike would help. Definitely! (I do have to push it up the steep hills, but it is so worth it on the way down.)
