If you are looking for a (legal) Harvery Manning winter beach walk this is it. You can legally hike all the way from L.B. Good Park at the Indian Island bridge to the bridge between Indian and Marrwostone about 2 miles or so one way. Start by backtracking a bit backwards to under the bridge which is really beautiful, almost tropical looking waters and white sand beach interrupted by rocky protrusions. We saw big fat harbor seal catching fish in the incoming tide which rips through portage canal. A view from the top of the bridge is also recommended. Then continue on in the "right" direction towards Marrowstone. Lots of waterfowl by the lagoon/spit area and (when we were there) an abandoned dingie. It gets mucky from here but you can continue (at low tide with boots) all the way to the over the isthmus between Indian and Marrwostone islands and under that bridge to peek art Scow bay.
