Due to snow still on the road, it is about a one mile hike to the trailhead. The trail to the ridge is snow covered and slippery. The creek crossings are challenging. Camped @ Hogback in deep snow with stunning views of Mount Baker. Climbed to the summit and all the way back to the parking area in 15 hours. Crampons/ice axe mandatory. Enjoy!
