Parked at the Issaquah Highlands Tennis Courts in Central Park at 9am. You don't need to worry about parking as there are plenty of spots by the tennis courts and even more down by the lower soccer fields.
Trail is in great condition and would be a great place for trail running. There were a decent amount of people on the trail, but more bikers than hikers/runners. I would recommend not having headphones in so you can hear the bikers coming. They are supposed to yield to everyone, but a lot of the time they can't see or hear you and it's just easier for you to move off the trail so they can pass. The bikers were all very friendly and let you know how many more bikers were following behind them in their party which was really helpful. I hiked the Flowing Fir Loop counter clockwise and all the bikers (with the exception of one) were coming at me instead of from behind me.
As per the trail map, which I have linked below, I followed the South Pond trail out, east on Coal Mine Loop, to East Fork Trail, to Sam Dog Creek Trail, to Flowing Fir Loop counter clockwise, and then back on the East Fork Trail, to Coal Mine Loop, to South Pond trail, and to the parking lot by the tennis courts. There are trail maps located at each of the intersections on the trail, so it's really easy to navigate around without feeling like you are getting lost.
I clocked 6 miles for this big loop and arrived back at the parking lot around 10:45am and the parking lot wasn't even close to being full in the slightest.
