Arrived at the trailhead at 7:30 and was the second car. Light snow/rain from last night kept the dust down, which was nice. Some wildflowers along the way including Trillium. A male sooty grouse was drumming his heart out about a mile in (listen for a low - surprise when he found me. The trail is marked with stick arrows which help in a few places - would be nice if more sturdy signage could be put in. On the way down passed about 20 hikers.
