I like this trail for days when I don’t have a ton of time, but still want some nice views. It’s short, but a steady uphill climb. The big views are seen from the lookout, but the trail up has some pretty cool rock formations too. Lots of roots and rocks along the way, so wear sturdy shoes.
The trail can get pretty busy. I arrived at the trailhead at 9 am on a Friday and there were only three other cars. By the time we left around 10, the parking lot was completely full.
