Beckler Peak is always a favorite and today we had it pretty much to ourselves. There are some fantastic views from up top of Glacier Peak, Mount Barring, and many more.
It is such a steady climb the whole way that it never really feels strenuous, but rather a steady four mile hike to the top.
Today we still had few snow fields to cross as you reached the top but they were not to difficult to pass over.
There are lots of varieties of wildflowers that are in bloom this time of year. This does draw out the bugs which, while there can be many within the forest, the summit has very few.
If you are going before July 4th, expect to easy to cross snow fields as you reach the top.
