Trip Report

Cherry Creek Falls — Saturday, Jun. 5, 2021

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West

The trail begins right at the corner of Kelly Rd and Mountain View Rd - you should see a post from a blue gate.

The trail is pretty level for the first half or so, then you lose some elevation as you male your way closer to the falls. Nice, easy trail for any hiking level.

The trail itself is MUDDY! Be prepared with waterproof hiking boots (we saw too many people with Van's, Nikes, etc. with soaking wet feet). Parts of the trail are also pretty grown in, so we got very wet just navigating through the foliage (best to bring a light rain jacket if it's recently rained).

The falls are just beautiful, very magical. Great place to just sit and enjoy ther company you're with.

We also saw way too many people blatantly disrespecting the several signs very clearly stating no dogs on the trail. Super disappointing. This is technically private land, and the owner is kind enough to have it opened up to the public. Too many broken rules and that may not always be the case. Don't be a dick, leave your dog at home.
