Part of a long weekend of camping at the Hoh River we did this hike on day two. Two members of my party are not hikers at all so this was a really good option for them that also lightly scratched my hiking itch. It was about a forty minute wait in line to get into the park but I got some sweet pictures of the river while we waited. the parking lot was over flowing but we lucked out as someone was leaving as soon as we arrived The trail is undergoing some maintenance but overall it's in excellent shape. It winds through the rainforest and briefly passes the river. It's super popular, the trail was packed so we got really good at taking quick pictures but there wasn't a lot of time to revel in the views, which kind of sucks. It follows a pretty creek toward the end before dumping you out back to the visitor center. I wanted to check out one of the other trails that begin there, especially the one to the falls, but my group was too tired so we headed back to camp.
