Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Weekend family camping trip to Dash Point, mostly to play in the water at the beach (super fun, lots of families out and about, great water temp and low tide beach fun for a toddler). We got about four small hikes on some of the lovely trails in as well leaving right from the campground. The trails were pretty quite and in relatively good shape. Some structures (like stairs) are in need of some love soon, but managed everything with a 1.5 year-old on my back just fine. The campground can get a bit loud (we had a great time) but the trails -- especially along some of the creeks -- were a nice surprise.
