This is a steep hike, but once you hit the summit the views make you forget the climb (mostly). Getting to the trailhead was tricky because there are not a lot of signs telling where to turn. However Google directions got us there just fine. The forest service roads had to be some of the best I've traveled. Hardly any potholes and we passed three sedans going up.
The trail has got good tread and is pretty soft to walk on. Very few rocks and roots to trip you up. A good trail with great views should be recommendation enough for anyone.
