Friends of Road 4109 and The Chinook Trail Association rented a tracked excavator today. We worked quite a on 8/26/2021. We did a lot of smoothing the road, cleaning and adding water bars on the road and cutting brush on the road. If you're careful I think you can drive the 4109 road without scratching your paint on the brush.
We worked in the parking lot and tried to fill in the big puddle that forms when it rains. and stopping vehicles from getting past the parking lot.
Besides the road, the other big change is we seriously decommissioned the old jeep road again. The jeep road is now impassible to any vehicle, dirt bikes, and many people. Please use the trail on the south side of the parking lot instead of the jeep road. Also, the rocks have been moved from the parking lot replaced as a barrier and there are now three ditches to stop vehicles.
