Loved this quick trail! I have been meaning to do it for awhile and finally made it out. The road isn't too bad, just keep your eyes out for a few potholes. The entire trail roundtrip is less than 4 miles, closer to 3 and around 1,300 feet elevation gain. We got a few huckleberries, but most have been picked and only some small, unripe ones remain.
The views at the top are incredible, and the trail itself was relaxing and gorgeous winding through the forest with some wonderful sneak peek views on your way to the top. The last ten feet of the trail are very steep and there is a metal cable for you to pull yourself up with. I will be doing this hike again!
